Pray for Our Church

For anyone who has been following closely, our church has been in an interim period, searching since before I started last August for a new settled pastor. Well, it seems that our search may be over. Our interim pastor, Dr. Thomas Bentz, has been great for us and has been a great help to me personally but even still, we are all very excited for someone to come and lead us into the next chapter of our church's life. The Pastor Search Committee has found someone and the next step is for the whole congregation to meet them and vote. I plan to post again when the final decision is made but for now please just pray for our church. Pray that whoever God brings us is someone who can lead us with vision and passion for the Kingdom of God. And pray that our community discovers anew the beauty of being the church in a world like ours.
