Time

Far from being an abstract category, or from being limited to a tiresome chronological succession, time becomes, thanks to memory, a space where we encounter the face of Jesus, the Son of God made flesh, and a space for encounter with others. In time are rooted two liberties, God’s free self-revelation in the gratuitousness of love and the human freedom to accept this gift; the first calls forth and constitutes the second.”
