I don't know how acurate this quiz is but I thought it was interesting.
Which theologian are you?

I scored as Jurgen Moltmann. The problem of evil is central to your thought, and only a crucified God can show that God is not indifferent to human suffering. Christian discipleship means identifying with suffering but also anticipating the new creation of all things that God will bring about.
I won't take the test Wes and this is why. Theology divides us all into different camps. I no longer need the approval or the affirmation of any man or any group following them. The only thing I need has been deposited in my heart by the Holy Spirit, through the revelation of the work of the cross.
It is the love and acceptance given freely by the Father totally independent of what I believe and IMHO that gift of love is the only thing that will inspire us to stop dividing into camps and recognize that we are all being gathered into His camp "in Christ" apart from our theology. Please take no offense my friend.
I take no offense. To me it's harmeless though. The problem is not that we have different theology, that is good, the problem is we don't know how to disagree. Our disagreement shouldn't divide us, we're not that smart. We're more like little kids just figuring out that mommy has a mommy too. We've not come up with something so profound that we should fight about it (not that I don't enjoy a healthy debate) instead we should celebrate all tha we have in common. I don't care if you take the test or not, I don't care if you're Martin Luther or a John Calvin (and I know that no dumb internet test could ever define you) you're still my brother, we still share in something so much bigger than our petty disagreements.
So don't feel like you need to take the test, it's silly anyway. But don't feel afraid to say you have favorites or that you disagree. I'll always be a N.T. Wright fan and not a fan of John McArthur's theology but that shouldn't hurt. If you love John McArthur that's ok we should still be able to get along... we should never be divided by such small matters.
Sorry about that rant, thanks for your thoughts.
You're right Wes. I apologize for being such a stick-in-the-mud. I just hate the divisions in humanity that religious doctrine causes.
It's nice to have bros like you who are so civil even if we don't always agree. Thanks for reminding me that it is perfectly ok to just be silly.
