Let Love Be Our Song

God of love and grace, we long to have your heart. We long for our hearts to beat with yours. Let us look at the people around us, even our enemies, with the same love through which they were created by your hand. Let your love be our law and let all else answer to love alone. There is no law against love. Let love be our reason. Let love be our song. For you are love and Christ is your expression. Let us fall in love with you. Amen.

When you love your enemies truly, with the same eyes as our Creator, you cannot help but see them as human, and someday, eventually, you cannot help but wish them well. God of love and grace, help us to forgive.
