Good day to be a Charger fan!

Two days ago I agreed to teach Sunday school for the high school youth group at our church, forgetting that I had already told myself that I was going to go to early service that week and skip youth group in order to watch the Charger game (I wonder how many Charger or Colts fans skipped altogether). Only after I agreed to teach did I realize my mistake and that I would have to find some way to tape or record the game because win or lose I wanted to see it (if they win it's historical for the Chargers, if they lose it's the last game of the season). So I woke up this morning, gave an old rugby tape to my roommate to tape the game on, and headed to church. Dodging conversation after conversation about football I miraculously made it through Sunday school, church service, and lunch without hearing the score. I bit my teeth through my sub-par quality recording I had made and was pleased if not out-of-my-mind with excitement... 28-24 Chargers... it's a good day to be a Charger fan!

(yes, that's second string QB Billy Volek on the right... who'da thunk he would pull it off when Rivers was injured?)
