people are not bad continued

My idea of bad is (in response to a comment from Daniel) moral tendency. Not that we are not a people "bent on backsliding" (Hosea 11:7) but our God given nature is not "sin." God created us as good. I think it's appropriate to understand Sin as an intruding enemy. It doesn't belong in us. It is essentially against our nature. A God-intended picture of humanity is as you said "for his pleasure" walking in good conduct. Sin entered in Genesis 3 as an intruder. Sin is an enemy of God it's what the Kingdom is against, it doesn't fit in the picture, it's against our nature.

It might be a simple question of "what is nature?" I think of nature (in biblical context) as how we were created or what was created in us. What do you think?
